Meet Jerry King: Accordion Maestro
Jerry's repertoire seems endless, knowing thousands of songs by heart. He plays favorites upon request and, at times, adds a hint of jazz to a song when the mood calls for it. His impressive past credentials, combined with his current engagements, speak to his experience and talent. Notably, Jerry has been the house musician at Carlos', a four-star restaurant in Highland Park, Illinois, for 23 years, also at La Creperie in Chicago for 28 years.
However, I am retired from playing professionally, however I want to continue to display the entertainment part of my life along with some of my favorite songs for the public to enjoy.

A Lifetime of Musical Experience
Jerry's musical journey began at the age of 13 when he started performing professionally on weekends with his father, Norm King, a professional rhythm guitarist. Together, they gained recognition as The Norm & Jerry King Duo, working together for the next 28 years. Jerry studied at the Chicago School of Music under Walter Corvine and later with master accordion teacher Mario Moschino at the Moschino School of Music.
Throughout his career, Jerry has received numerous accolades from clients, but two particular comments stand out. One client remarked, "I've never realized the accordion could sound so beautiful," while another said, "It wouldn't have been Italian without your accordion music." These testimonials reflect the lasting impact Jerry's music has on those who experience it.

Accordion Repair and Tuning
In addition to his musical talents, Jerry is also an accordion specialist. He enjoys repairing and tuning accordions professionally, ensuring that each instrument produces its best sound.
